Rolex Middle Sea Race - Overall Winner
24/10/2008Thierry Bouchard's Spirit of Ad Hoc (FRA) has been confirmed as the overall handicap winner of Rolex Middle Sea Race 2008.
Bouchard's crew crossed the line at 13.04.27 CET on Thursday, 23rd October. Despite finishing five hours after Chestress 2, Spirit of Ad Hoc corrected out twenty-seven minutes ahead.
Thierry Bouchard will be awarded the Rolex Middle Sea Race Trophy and a Rolex Chronometer at the race prize-giving to be held on Saturday, 25th October 2008.
Andy Soriano's Alegre (GBR) secured Line Honours finishing at 07.20.16 CET on Wednesday, 22nd October
