IMA Team Announcement. New Association Technical Office and new Race Secretariat

In order to improve administrative services and technical support to members, team representatives, associated classes, clubs and events, as well as to streamline equipment and rule compliance checks with the various rating authorities and classes the following changes have been made to the IMA team:

The Association Technical Officer has been replaced by an Association Technical Office.

This will consist of experts covering the different rating systems used by the various categories of maxi yachts.
Initially the committee members will be James Dadd, Andrew Yates and Paolo Massarini with support from Rob Weiland and Adam Cowley.

IMA Race Secretariat:

Mrs. Monica Recchia has been appointed to be in control of the Race Secretariat. She has extensive experience in the field having worked for the America’s Cup and the TP52 Super Series.

The IMA would like to take this opportunity to thank Pete and Marshall Lawson for their long and valued service to the Association and wish them every good fortune in retirement.
