Mini Maxi Racing Category - New upper limit

The International Maxi Association is pleased to inform all interested parties that in a recent Officers meeting it was decided to set the upper limit of the Mini Maxi Racing category to 72 feet (21.95 meters).

This limit was unanimously requested by the present Mini Maxi Racing Owners in order to keep the boats in a narrower size range and to promote closer racing.

The present boats longer than 72' are grandfathered.

At the next IMA Annual general Meeting in September, the Officers will propose to the Members that this limit will be maintained for a period of five(5) years.
