 The first series of the International Maxi Association (I.M.A) Calendar 2009 was concluded in Palma di Mallorca on Sunday April 19^th .

Twenty Maxi yachts took part in the event and the Association congratulates Favonius at the helm of Roel Pieper winner of the Racing/Cruising Maxi Division, Lizard of Cornwall of Mr. Javier Sanso, winner of the Maxi Cruising Division, Bellamente of Mr. Hap Fauth winner of the Mini Maxi Division, Racing Group, and to Wallyno of Mr. Fernando Lopez Domenech, winner of the Mini Maxi Division, Cruising Group.

Additional prizes were awarded to:

-          The first Wally Yacht, Open Season of Mr. Thomas Bscher

-          The first Swan Maxi Class, Favonius of Mr. Roel Pieper

-          The first Mini Maxi boat with professional crew only, Luna Rossa of Mr. Patrizio Bertelli, with Mr. Flavio Favini at the helm.

The second series of the IMA Calendar will take place at the end of April in Santa Margherita (Italy) with the regattas of the Pirelli series.
