Hublot Palmavela - New Jv72 Mini Maxi Safely Transported to Barcelona in the Snow

RAN II, the newly built, J/V designed mini maxi is now in Barcelona undergoing final commissioning before starting at Palma Vela. The yacht´s transport from Lymington to Barcelona was managed by Complete Freight LTD, specialists in yacht shipping and assisting race programs with their transport and logistical requirements.

The yacht was shipped from Portsmouth to Bilbao, planning had to be meticulous with only 5cm of door clearance on either side of the topsides as the yacht entered the ship at slack water. Police escorted the wide load through eleven Spanish provinces and transport through the Basque country was complicated by heavy snow. The yacht arrived in Barcelona in good condition.
